Occupying 42 acres, the fully approved development will exist as the nucleus for Bozeman’s high-tech economy. In partnership with Montana State University, the 20,000 square foot Applied Research Lab will be the first building completed in Q1 of 2019.
The MSU Innovation Campus will strengthen the research capability of MSU to expand the commercialization of technology related to MSU’s clusters of academic and research excellence.

The high-tech sector is growing exponentially in Montana, contributing more than $1.5 billion in revenue last year, according to a survey conducted by the Montana High Tech Business Alliance.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau population estimates from 2017, Bozeman, Montana was the fastest growing micropolitan area in the country, with a population growth rate of just over 4 percent.
Bozeman has long been a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts, but the small city has also earned another reputation as a boomtown for entrepreneurs in high technology.
